Day at the beach

On the 13th of May 2019, my class, along with several other classes from the school of ICT headed to the beach of east coast park to help and remove rubbish from the shore and improve the cleanliness of the beach. This activity was really very meaningful as it really opened my eyes to how cleaners have to do this kind of activity everyday at work. It was no simple task, under the blazing hot sun as well as having the sand go into your shoes as you pick up litter left by those visiting the beach. The activity personally caused some discomfort to me as i got blisters from all the walking. However, it was also really enjoyable as I got to spend the day with my fellow classmates and friends and worked together to complete a task.
