My Experience
2008
STUDENT FROM TOWNSVILLE PRIMARY SCHOOL
I joined the harmonica CCA, and joined several SYF events, bringing the school medals and achievements as the bass for the CCA. Then i joined calligraphy as well as photography, being selected to join the national photography event. I also participated in several science fairs and workshops, where I got to perform hands on experiments with my peers.
2014
STUDENT FROM XINMIN SECONDARY
I joined the National Cadet Corps, where i got to learn the values of leadership, teamwork as well as the importance of responsibility. In NCC, I participated in various events and camps to help me bond with my cadets, such as the SSLC camp, where sergeants have to participate the gain the rank of staff sergeant. The camp was a gruesome 3 night camp where we slept on grass fields even if it rained. This camp taught me important values such as endurance as well as looking out for my friends.
My secondary school life also taught me compassion, through various charity events such as the school's yearly event where we go around blocks collecting recyclables from residents, the amount gained will be all donated to charities across Singapore, this taught me to look out for those in need as I have the ability to make a difference.
